Bowed Double Hung  Windows
with Bent Glass

This Maine residence has a wonderful view of the ocean and Fenestration control was an important architectural element. Note the bowed double hung sash with Bent Glass on the first floor and the straight sash and doors in the second floor entrance above nestled in the arched alcove uniquely juxtaposed to
the bowed wall below. The adjacent round fanlites accent the elevation.

These units are solid Mahogany with a Woodstone Custom Finish including preservative dip, alkyd prime, and one coat acrylic finish paint applied before unit assembly and installation of insulating glass to insure coverage of all faces and edges of each component part including the coped interior glazing stops. A second finish coat was applied after the units were assembled and before delivery or installation limiting the need for expensive on-site touch up.
