In 1978 Woodstone® began fabricating hand crafted Premium grade wooden windows, doors and associated millwork, specializing in monumental and landmark historic replications. From traditional weight & pulley windows to multipoint locking doors, Woodstone products are fabricated entirely in the United States.
What’s ‘Premium’ grade you ask?
‘Premium’ is the highest rating for wooden window and door construction, jointly specified by the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI), the Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC) and the Woodwork Institute (WI).
Woodstone fabricates its own Authentic True Divided Lite Insulating Glass (TDL IG). Using a composite warm edge spacer approximately 50 times more energy efficient than stainless steel IG spacers, and compatible with almost every restoration and high performance glazing material available, Woodstone IG is tested annually to the highest CBA performance rating awarded by the Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC®) and Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA®).
Woodstone windows and doors are typically fabricated with indigenous or imported decay resistant hardwood or softwood and a custom stained and/or color matched finish.
Woodstone window and door systems include stainless steel, brass, bronze and other non-corrosive weather-strip, hardware and fasteners, designed to last for generations.
LEED® evaluation data are available for all materials and fabrication methods.
